Community Foundations to Increase Private Markets Allocations at Slower Pace

Pensions & Investments | June 16, 2025

FEG’s 10th annual Community Foundation Survey is featured in Pensions & Investments. The comprehensive survey, which includes insights from 113 community foundations managing $41 billion in assets,1  reveals that 29% of respondents plan to boost their private investment allocations. This marks the highest interest in any asset class, although to a lesser extent compared to the previous year due to less favorable returns and heightened competition for capital.

1Assets under advisement were self reported by respondents as of September 30, 2024.
