Council on Michigan Foundations, Annual Conference will be a virtual conference this year.
The conference theme Building Inclusive Environments: Together on the Journey is centered in the commitment to continue our collective exploration of what equity means to our community of philanthropy. Working with the Program and Host Committees, they will be designing innovative opportunities to create powerful connections and inspiring learning experiences in a virtual format using a variety of tools and resources, an environment that opens the conference experience to new possibilities.
"For the past 72 years, we have built a legacy of connection and 2020 is no exception. For the first time in our history we are bringing the Annual Conference to your doorstep. Gather regionally in one of eight cities across the Southwest to connect in-person with other funders and collectively livestream three general sessions and headline speakers. For those unable to join us in-person, we have digital streaming option for you to connect in the comfort of your own home!"
"Please join your community foundation colleagues online for the 2020 Annual National Conference for Growing Community Foundations, explore what new technology has to offer to help you meet with old friends and make new connections. Dive into the expanded content live or listen to the recording at your convenience later during the year. From “blind-dates” matched by your interests to group discussions, interactive sessions, special events, and virtual “bar hopping” --- there are plenty of fun ways to connect, learn, and grow! The West and the East, the North and the South come together to network and share experiences with others just as passionate about community foundations."
"Join us November 11-13, 2020, for an online event that will bring Southern philanthropy together in new ways while delivering the powerful speakers and sessions that have made the Annual Meeting the region’s premier philanthropic event for over 50 years!"
