FEG’s Community Foundation Survey collects data on financial and enterprise topics such as spending policy, responsive investing (SRI/ESG, Impact, PRI), and externally managed funds, to help inform community foundations nationwide. We seek to provide insights on issues relevant to community foundations today, so that they may make a greater impact on tomorrow.
The survey began in 2015 as a client request for peer comparison on asset allocation and performance. Recognizing a lack of information on enterprise topics, we expanded the scope of the survey and made it available to community foundations nationwide for a more comprehensive view of the landscape. Since inception, nearly 200 community foundations have participated.
