Higher Education Endowment Portfolios Show No Change in Uncertain Market Environment

Despite economic headwinds, 35% of surveyed colleges and universities are making no changes to their long-term endowment portfolios, a strategy FEG supports for its emphasis on resilience over reaction. Others are adjusting risk profiles, reducing private capital exposure, or increasing cash and short-term investments. Institutions are also diversifying revenue through fundraising and tuition changes, while cautiously expanding debt capacity. The emphasis remains on long-term strategy over reactive decisions.
