Samantha Merman
Senior Research Analyst
Samantha Merman is a Senior Research Investment Analyst on FEG’s Private Equity team, where she conducts investment research and due diligence across venture, growth, buyout, and secondary strategies for institutional client portfolios. In her role, she evaluates private market investment opportunities, supports portfolio construction efforts, and monitors industry trends, fundraising activity, and manager performance across the private equity landscape. Prior to joining FEG, Samantha gained experience in private equity and financial services through roles at MiddleGround Capital and Spectrum Financial Alliance.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in Finance and Management from the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business. Samantha has passed Levels I and II of the CFA Program and is currently a candidate for Level III. Outside of work, she serves as a board member for the Cincinnati Echelon Board of The Salvation Army.
