William Hummel

Bill Hummel is a Senior Vice President and Investment Advisor at FEG Investment Advisors, where he has advised institutional clients since 1995. With more than three decades of experience in the investment industry, Bill specializes in serving endowments, foundations, and corporate retirement plans, providing strategic guidance on investment policy, asset allocation, and portfolio management.

At FEG, Bill works closely with clients to develop customized investment programs aligned with their unique objectives, risk tolerances, and fiduciary responsibilities. His expertise spans manager selection, portfolio construction, and ongoing oversight, helping institutions navigate complex and evolving market environments with discipline and clarity.

Bill is particularly recognized for his deep experience in retirement plan advisory services, including defined contribution and defined benefit plans such as 401(k), 403(b), and pension plans. He brings a practical, client-centered approach to plan design, investment menu development, and governance, helping organizations improve participant outcomes while meeting fiduciary standards.

In addition to his advisory work, Bill has served as an Investment Committee Member for several organizations, including St. Xavier High School, The Greater Miami Valley YMCA, and The Northern Cincinnati Foundation. These roles reflect his commitment to stewardship, governance, and the long-term financial health of nonprofit and community-based institutions.

Prior to joining FEG, Bill worked as a Retirement Plan Specialist at Fidelity Investments, where he built a strong foundation in retirement plan consulting and participant-focused solutions.
