Stephen Hodson

Stephen Hodson is an Advisor and Segment Lead for FEG’s Higher Education practice, where he works closely with universities, family offices, arts organizations, and other educational and nonprofit institutions. In this role, he partners with clients to align investment strategy with long-term mission and impact.

Prior to joining FEG, Stephen built his investment experience in equity research and portfolio management roles in New York, working with firms including J.P. Morgan, HSBC, and Oppenheimer Capital. He pairs deep market knowledge with a client-centered, mission-focused approach.

Stephen’s path to finance reflects a deep commitment to education and service, including two years of volunteer service in England, teaching, and leadership in local community and youth programs. He studied at the University of Utah before graduating from The Juilliard School and has performed throughout North America and Europe. He holds the CFA and CAIA designations and earned his MBA from Columbia University. He also serves on the Advisory Council of Bountiful Financial, a provider of faith-based indices.

Outside of work, Stephen and his wife are actively involved in their community. They enjoy time with their growing family, travel, and a shared love of the arts.
