Stephen Haines

Stephen Haines is a Vice President and Advisor at FEG, where he partners with clients to develop and implement investment programs that support their long-term objectives. He works closely with clients on investment strategy, portfolio construction, manager selection, governance, and ongoing portfolio oversight. Stephen also serves as FEG’s Research Team Liaison for Diversifying Strategies, helping connect the firm’s research capabilities with client investment needs and portfolio solutions.

Prior to joining FEG, Stephen served as an Investment Officer for Communities Foundation of Texas, where he oversaw investment portfolios and supported the foundation’s long-term investment objectives. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Portfolio Management with Allianz Group and Regional Director of Institutional Services at Dimensional Fund Advisors, working closely with institutional investors on portfolio strategy and implementation. His experience across asset management, portfolio oversight, and client engagement provides a broad perspective on helping clients achieve their investment goals.

Stephen earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University. His background in investment management and portfolio construction supports his work advising clients and collaborating with FEG’s research and portfolio management teams. Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time with family and pursuing a variety of personal interests.
