Sarah Wessling

Vice President, Philanthropic Strategist

Sarah Wessling is a Vice President and Philanthropic Strategist at FEG, where she partners with nonprofit organizations and philanthropic clients to help align their communications, fundraising efforts, and investment programs with their missions and long-term objectives. As a member of FEG’s OCIO Strategy and Solutions team, she supports strategic planning, client experience initiatives, and operational enhancements that contribute to the continued growth and scalability of the firm’s investment platform.

 

Since joining FEG in 2014, Sarah has leveraged her experience in institutional investment communications, fundraising, relationship management, and strategic leadership to help organizations effectively communicate the connection between their missions and financial resources. Prior to joining FEG, she served as Corporate and Foundations Manager at the Cincinnati Art Museum and as a Program Coordinator for The Ohio Center for Law-Related Education. Earlier in her career, she was a Teach For America corps member and high school social studies teacher. These experiences continue to shape her commitment to education, community impact, and service.

 

Sarah earned a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University and holds bachelor’s degrees in Communications and History from The Ohio State University. She is a graduate of United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s Board Orientation Leadership Development (BOLD) program and a member of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation’s Charter in Philanthropy (CAP) Cohort VIII. Sarah currently serves on the board of Clermont County CASA for Kids and has volunteered with the Freestore Foodbank, served on the Women’s Fund advocacy committee, and participated as a mentor through the American Marketing Association Mentorship Program. Outside of work, she enjoys participating in book clubs, exploring new hobbies, competing in trivia events, and traveling.
