Rob Van Den Brink is a Senior Vice President and Advisor at FEG, where he partners with clients to develop and implement investment programs that support their long-term objectives. He works with some of the firm’s most complex client relationships, providing guidance on investment strategy, governance, portfolio construction, manager selection, and ongoing portfolio oversight. Rob also provides leadership to FEG’s advisor team and serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Enterprise Risk Committee.

 

With 30 years of investment experience, Rob brings deep expertise in institutional investing, risk management, and portfolio strategy. Prior to joining FEG, he was a Fixed Income Analyst at Goldman Sachs and later joined Aon (formerly Hewitt Associates), where he served as a Partner and Senior Advisor. During his tenure at Aon, he was a founding member of both the Global Pension Risk Team and the Global Manager Research Committee. These experiences helped shape his approach to managing investment risk and supporting long-term portfolio objectives.

 

Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University, graduating summa cum laude with double majors in Finance and Accounting. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations and is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society Cincinnati, and the CAIA Association. Originally from Michigan, Rob enjoys traveling with his family, exploring new cultures, following Cincinnati and Michigan sports teams, and spending time outdoors through activities such as hiking, golf, beach walks, and platform tennis.
