Omkar Bhapkar

Omkar Bhapkar is a Senior Vice President of Compliance at FEG where he supports the Chief Compliance Officer in the management of firm’s compliance program. As part of the compliance team, he supports the development and maintenance of the compliance program across FEG and its affiliated advisers and funds under SEC’s Investment Advisors Act of 1940.

Omkar joined FEG in 2014. Prior to that, he worked in Chicago for a commodities brokerage firm where he supported the compliance and trading teams. Omkar has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and specializes in risk management and oversight, operational due diligence, policy development, regulatory examinations, private funds, and separately managed accounts.

Omkar holds the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP) designation. He earned a Masters of Science in Financial Engineering from Kent State University and holds Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from India.
