Michael Aluise, CFA, CAIA

Senior Vice President, Advisor

Michael Aluise is a Senior Vice President at FEG, where he partners with clients to develop and implement investment programs aligned with their long-term objectives, governance priorities, and spending needs. He works closely with boards, investment committees, and family decision-makers on investment strategy, asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection, and ongoing portfolio oversight. Michael helps clients evaluate investment trade-offs and navigate complex decisions across changing market environments.

 

In addition to his client responsibilities, Michael serves as a liaison to FEG’s private equity research team, helping connect manager research and due diligence with portfolio implementation. His areas of focus include governance best practices, private markets, liquidity planning, and risk management. Michael is also active in the investment and nonprofit communities and has served on the Board of Directors of CFA Society Cincinnati, along with supporting various nonprofit organizations through board and volunteer service.

 

Michael earned his degree from Miami University, where he was a walk-on member of the men’s basketball team. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and remains an engaged supporter of his alma mater. His experience working with clients and collaborating with FEG’s research team provides a strong foundation for helping organizations achieve their long-term investment objectives. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and four young children, playing competitive golf, and staying involved in the community.
