Laura Poeckes

Laura Poeckes is a Senior Client Development Analyst with FEG Curio Investment Partners, where she supports allocator relationships and capital formation initiatives across private capital and hedge fund strategies. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Laura brings a relationship-focused and collaborative approach to helping advisors and investors navigate the evolving alternatives landscape.

Laura attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she helped manage the university’s student investment fund and developed an early passion for investment research and portfolio management. She began her career at FEG on the Research team, spending four years covering long-only public equity managers and strategies. During that time, she worked closely with investment teams on manager research, due diligence, and market analysis, building a strong foundation across public markets and institutional investing.

Today, Laura works closely with FEG’s investment and research professionals to support advisor groups, RIAs, family offices, and private banking platforms through Curio. Her responsibilities include business development support, investor communications, campaign and event coordination, and delivering educational resources and strategy updates to clients and prospects. She is passionate about building meaningful partnerships and helping connect investors with differentiated alternative investment opportunities.
