Jessica Cao

Jess Cao is a Research Analyst on FEG’s Global Equity team, where she supports investment manager research, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring across global equity strategies. In her role, Jess contributes to manager searches, evaluates investment processes and performance, and helps identify strategies that align with client objectives.

Jess has a strong academic foundation in finance, quantitative analysis, and systems thinking. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance and Mathematical Statistics from Wake Forest University and her master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Her interest in finance and asset management began early and has continued to shape her professional focus at FEG, where she began her full-time career.

Jess passed Level I of the CFA Program in 2026 and continues to build her expertise in investment research, portfolio analysis, and manager due diligence. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking.
