Senior Vice President, Operational Due Diligence

Douglas Walouke, CFA is a Senior Vice President at FEG, where he leads the firm’s Operational Due Diligence efforts, a function he established in 2020. He joined FEG in 2012 as an investment advisor after serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager in the investment office at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to that, he spent four years at the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, helping to strengthen and modernize the investment division during a period of significant organizational transformation.

Douglas brings more than 35 years of investment industry experience to his role. The first 14 years of his career were spent in investment banking, where he held positions in fixed-income trading, sell-side bank analysis, and investment banking focused on the banking industry. Over the past two decades, he has developed extensive expertise in evaluating will transitions, managing portfolios, and supporting investment governance and compliance processes.

At FEG, Douglas is responsible for leading the firm’s Operational Due Diligence program and plays a key role in helping clients and colleagues assess and monitor investment managers. His broad industry experience and disciplined approach to risk assessment provide valuable insights across a wide range of investment strategies and structures.

Douglas earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with a minor in Economics, from the University of Cincinnati and earned the CFA designation in 1997. He remains active in the investment community and previously served in leadership roles with the CFA Society Columbus, including as Board President. Outside of work, Douglas enjoys playing hockey and participates annually in FEG’s Hockey Classic. He is also a husband, father of two adult daughters, and serves as Board President of Sustainable Medical Missions.
