Doug Walouke, CFA

Douglas Walouke is a Senior Vice President at FEG, where he leads the firm’s Operational Due Diligence program, a function he established in 2020. He works closely with investment professionals across the firm to evaluate and monitor investment managers, assess operational risks, and support the ongoing oversight of investment strategies across client portfolios. Douglas brings a disciplined approach to risk assessment and manager evaluation, helping strengthen FEG’s investment due diligence process and portfolio management capabilities.

Douglas joined FEG in 2012 as an advisor after serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager in the investment office at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to that, he spent four years at the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, where he helped strengthen and modernize the investment division during a period of significant organizational transformation. Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years in investment banking, holding positions in fixed-income trading, sell-side bank analysis, and investment banking focused on the banking industry. With more than 35 years of industry experience, Douglas brings broad expertise across portfolio management, manager evaluation, governance, and operational risk oversight.

Douglas holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. His extensive experience across investment management, institutional investing, and operational due diligence provides valuable perspective in helping FEG assess investment opportunities and support long-term portfolio objectives. Outside of work, Douglas enjoys spending time with family, staying active, and following developments across the investment industry.

Douglas earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with a minor in Economics, from the University of Cincinnati and earned the CFA designation in 1997. He remains active in the investment community and previously served in leadership roles with the CFA Society Columbus, including as Board President. Outside of work, Douglas enjoys playing hockey and participates annually in FEG’s Hockey Classic. He is also a husband, father of two adult daughters, and serves as Board President of Sustainable Medical Missions.
