Christian Busken

Director of Research - Real Assets

Christian Busken is Head of Real Assets Research at FEG, where he leads the firm’s research efforts across real estate, natural resources, and infrastructure. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring investment managers, developing real assets investment strategies, and supporting the construction of real assets portfolios. With more than 25 years of investment experience, Christian works closely with advisors, investment managers, and clients to identify opportunities across the real assets landscape.

 

Prior to joining FEG in 2002, Christian held client service roles with Franklin Templeton in San Francisco and Franklin Covey in Salt Lake City. He has led FEG’s real assets research effort since 2007 and has spent the majority of his career contributing to the firm’s research platform. Christian is a frequent speaker on real assets investing and has presented at industry conferences and lectured at the University of Cincinnati.

 

Christian holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). He previously served on the Board of Directors of Busken Bakery, Inc. Outside of work, he enjoys international travel, hiking, and spending time with his family.
