Alan Bergin

Alan Bergin is a Senior Vice President and Advisor based in Dallas, Texas, with more than 25 years of experience in wealth management and investment advisory. He works closely with institutions and family offices, delivering customized strategies focused on long-term wealth preservation, growth, and generational planning.

Over the course of his career, Alan has developed a deep understanding of portfolio construction, strategic asset allocation, and risk management across a wide range of market environments. He helps clients navigate financial decisions with discipline and perspective.

Prior to joining Fund Evaluation Group, Alan was a Vice President and Consultant at Larry Thompson & Associates for over 13 years, where he provided strategic investment guidance and portfolio oversight to institutional and private clients. Earlier in his career, he spent four years with Cambridge Associates, serving as an International Investment Analyst in both Arlington, Virginia and London, United Kingdom, where he gained global market experience and developed a strong foundation in institutional investment management.

Alan earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2006. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Alan has been actively involved in the Dallas community, including service on the Advisory Council for Mary Immaculate School and is a member of the Investment Committee for Scouting America’s Circle Ten Council.

Alan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
