Client Service Associate, FEG Managed Portfolios

Position Summary

Client Service Associate, FEG Managed Portfolios, is to provide day-to-day support to Institutional accounts to discretionary client relationships. The position requires coordinating activities with firm operations staff, custodian banks, client staff, and resolving various account specific administrative and operational problems. The position reports to the Client Service Manager.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist with the client onboarding process, including:
    • Setting up the client relationship in internal CRM and portfolio accounting systems
    • Coordinating account set up at the client custodians (Schwab, Fidelity, etc.)
    • Facilitating fund flows for the transition of new funds and assets
  • Serving as point of contact for client relationships. This includes activities such as:
    • Managing and processing client requests, including changes to asset allocation, liquidity needs, and capital call requests
    • Interfacing with client custodians regarding any client issues, as well as updating and tracking authorized agents
    • Reviewing custody statements with clients and ensuring accuracy on reported items (e.g., cost basis reporting)
    • Coordinating stock gifts for our non-profit clients
    • Responding to other general requests for information
    • Other activities include:
      • Assuming responsibility for any periodic reporting requirements
      • Fulfilling any audit requests that require client information
      • Distributing information (educational materials, etc.) to internal consultants
      • Facilitating conference calls between the portfolio management team and internal consultants and/or clients

Qualifications

  • At least two years experience in the investment management industry, with specific client service experience and knowledge of client custody and account management systems.
  • Highly detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated team player seeking opportunity in an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented environment
  • Bachelors degree required

Performance Analyst

Position Summary

The Performance Analyst is responsible for managing the performance reporting needs for a group of consultant teams. The position requires the ability to identify problems and resolve them accurately and timely, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with investment managers and custodians. The responsibilities include monthly history completion, performance reconciliation, and project work with the consultant teams. The position reports to the Vice President of Client Service.

Position Responsibilities

  • Monthly history completion
  • Completion of industry sectors and asset mixes
  • Identify source of problems and resolve accurately and timely
  • Communicate effectively with investment managers and custodians on issues
  • Reconcile manager and composite performance
  • Database upkeep with investment manager / custodian contact changes
  • Notify consultant teams of investment manager changes  and explain performance discrepancies
  • History creation and reconciliation for new clients
  • Assist consultant teams on projects

 

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidate will either have a Bachelor's degree or be pursuing a degree in finance and/or have relevant certification(s) and/or have finance/investment experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of investment terminology
  • Proficient computer skills with ability to learn proprietary software
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Position:                 Performance Analyst

Type:                       Part Time - 20 hours per week

                                 Full Time - 40 hours per week in January, April, July, and October.

Receptionist

Position Summary

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting, screening, and directing visitors. They assign conference rooms, conference calls, and operate the telephone system. This position also coordinates all shipping, and ingoing and outgoing mail, while maintaining front desk day to day operations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with appropriate professionalism, including appearance and hospitable manner
  • Demonstrate effective and professional phone skills. Operate 80 key phone system
  • Interact with FEG associates in a professional and respectful manner, and address diplomatically
  • Manage front desk day to day operations
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintain petty cash
  • Maintain and update company and conference room calendars
  • Manage conference call accounts
  • Schedule courier and reconcile billing with accounting
  • Coordinate all shipping (USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, and courier)
  • Provide accurate and timely deliverables to internal & external clients
  • Basic knowledge of all FEG departments and how they work individually and together

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Experience with multi-line phone system, and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
