Position Summary

Administrator is responsible for managing the administrative needs for a group of consultant teams and other dedicated departments.  The position requires the ability to communicate effectively with consultants and analysts as well as the ability to prioritize tasks.

Position Responsibilities
  • Preparation of accurate and timely client (internal and external) deliverables (creation, printing and delivering)
  • Communicate effectively with consultant teams
  • Assist with Reception desk responsibilities
  • Assist consultant teams with projects
  • Basic knowledge of all FEG’s departments and how they work individually and together

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years’ experience

Client Service Associate

Operations Department

Position Summary

Client Service Associate is to provide day-to-day support to Institutional client relationships.  The position requires coordinating activities with firm operations staff, custodian banks, client staff, and investment managers. The position entails resolving various account specific administrative and operational problems.

Position Responsibilities
  • Serve as point of contact for institutional relationships on brokerage-related activities
    • Preparation and execution of rebalancing activities for clients including coordination with clients, custodians, investment managers and FEG operation staff
    • Manage and process client cash needs, private capital calls, coordinating stock gifts and general requests for information
    • Reviewing custody statements with clients and ensuring accuracy on reported items (e.g., cost basis reporting)
    • Coordinating stock gifts for our nonprofit clients
    • Coordinate the preparation of subscription documents
    • Assist with the onboarding of new institutional clients  
  • Other activities include:  
    • Assuming responsibility for any periodic reporting requirements
    • Fulfilling any audit requests that require client information
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the finance industry

Compliance Analyst

Compliance Department

Position Summary

This position will primarily be responsible for ensuring the firm’s Compliance with disclosures, marketing materials, and Code of Ethics.  It will require the ability to assist in performing audits and complete special projects within the Compliance Department.  This position will assist the other positions in the Compliance Department. 

Position Responsibilities
  • Assist with compliance reviews and audits.  Investigate compliance issues, analyze and document findings. Assist with the administration of the Code of Ethics and Pay-to-Play reporting.
  • Assist with compliance reviews of advertising and marketing material, RFP’s and finals presentations to ensure they include proper disclosures and are compliant with rules and regulations.  Assisting compliance team with Compliance training.
  • Assist the CCO in completing annual review and risk assessments and other assigned compliance tasks and special projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required/Advance Degree Preferred (or working towards)
  • 1 years + of progressive compliance experience( preferably in financial industry, but not required)
  • Auditing and Testing experience a plus
  • Ability to maintain excel spreadsheets

Global Equity Research Analyst

Research Department

Position Summary

Responsible for assisting the Director in conducting investment manager due diligence, client education and support, and analysis of designated markets.

Position Responsibilities
  • Source, research, and monitor investment managers. Includes writing research reports on recommended managers, providing quarterly reviews on covered managers, and writing memos when managers experience significant organizational, personnel, and portfolio changes.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of education and communication materials, including the quarterly market summary, monthly Research Review, quarterly Private Capital Research Review, quarterly Capital Markets Overview, quarterly Private Opportunities Fund letters, and other presentations.
  • Provide support to consultants, especially with respect to recommended / covered managers and the assigned markets.
  • Provide input to the sector team and IPC with respect to the various sector categories’ valuations and portfolio positioning, and contribute to general investment discussions, including at weekly research meetings.
  • Contribute to the general investment discussions, including at weekly research meetings.

Senior Operations & Trading Analyst

Position Summary

The Senior Operations & Trading Analyst responsible for taking lead on key day to day activities as well supervising and training junior team members in selected activities.

Position Responsibilities
  • Trading
    • Daily oversight of trading activities including the approval of sales and purchases.
    • Assist in training and activity of junior trader.
    • Reporting any information associated with daily trade effort.
    • Review client accounts and their adherence to individual IPS guidelines.

Position Summary

Lead servicing for Research Services clients, providing access and insight related to manager due diligence, capital markets research, asset allocation, and hedge fund and private capital solutions.  Support client development efforts.

Position Responsibilities
  • Primary point of contact for Research Services clients.  Includes preparation or coordination of deliverables, communication, and research support.
  • Maintain strong relationships with FEG research team, strong knowledge of recommended manager list, capital markets research, hedge funds and private capital funds.  Serve as the coordination point between clients and FEG research, including introducing key members of the research team when appropriate.
  • Leverage FEG network to build additional client relationships. Collaborate with team members to support sales efforts for Research Services and FEG private funds. 
  • Coordinates with sales and marketing to support sales efforts of dedicated sales team.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The intern will gain exposure to the depth of the fixed income asset class including: Publicly-traded fixed income markets (Treasuries, mortgages, corporate bonds, bank loans, etc.), credit hedge funds, and private debt strategies (private lending, mezzanine debt, distressed, etc.).  In addition, broad exposure to hedge funds, including Global Macro, Relative Value, and Event-Driven, will be attained through the intern’s work within diversifying strategies. The candidate will be involved in exposure analysis, manager research, and ad hoc projects, as needed.

 
Position Responsiblities 
  • Attend investment manager meetings in conjunction with members of the Fixed Income/Diversifying Strategies team and write summary notes and analysis of meetings
  • Assist in authoring portion of Capital Markets Overview and Quarterly Market Summary

Position Summary

The intern will gain exposure to a myriad of assets classes including:  global equity, global fixed income, real assets, Natural Resource Equities, energy-related Master Limited Partnerships, Commodities, Private Equity Real Estate, Private Energy Partnerships, Agriculture and Farmland, Infrastructure, and Timber and diversifying strategies such as hedge funds.  This experience will derive from dedicated and ad-hoc research performed by the intern with the oversight of SVP, Capital Markets. 

 
Position Responsiblities 
  • Ad-hoc research supporting the asset and risk allocation team
  • Dedicated project work for the duration of the internship supporting Research’s needs. Projects have and may involve asset allocation and liquidity studies, custom performance analysis, etc.
  • Attend weekly research meetings and support the management of the meeting
  • Attend and aid in coordination of asset and risk allocation meetings and asset class team meetings
  • Produce ongoing research reporting
