FEG President and CEO Becky Wood recognized among world's most influential investment consultants
FEG Investment Advisors announced that President and CEO Rebecca (Becky) S. Wood, was named one of the top investment consultants in the industry by Chief Investment Officer magazine.
This recognition is part of the magazines 2018 Knowledge Brokers list, an annual list that identifies some of the world’s most influential investment consultants. The list is sourced from interviews with pension and nonprofit CIOs, asset managers, and former consultants.
When asked about her approach to identifying client needs and creating solutions Wood said “as time moves forward, we have to remain at the forefront in terms of what we can offer to our clients to meet their needs.” She highlighted FEG’s approach to fee negotiations with managers and dedicated resources to less traditional areas such as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) offerings.
In addition to making the 2018 Knowledge Brokers list, Wood was nominated as a finalist for the 2018 Industry Innovation Award. A 26-year veteran of FEG, she was named President and CEO of the firm last month. Wood led the initiative to reinforce diversity and inclusion at FEG, and as a member of leadership and former managing principal helped to transition the company to an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP).
